About
Hello. My name is Marcus J. Houston. Most people also know me as "Bo." I am a board-certified psychiatrist in private practice in the East Bay.
I work with individuals spanning in age from late adolescence to older adulthood addressing a broad range of symptoms or concerns related to one's thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
Although psychiatric diagnosis and medication may be important in many cases, I believe that cultivating a therapeutic relationship is foundational to almost any treatment that aims for more enduring, long-term change.
Below is a brief list of some of my pertinent educational and training experiences that may be of interest to those seeking treatment with me:

Emory University School of Medicine (2005-2010), MD (5-yr dual degree MD/MPH track)
